Background

Dr. Blaine Charette is the author of two books and several academic articles on the New Testament. Most recently, he is the author of Restoring Presence, the Spirit in Matthew's Gospel. This book elaborates on the broad sweep of Matthew's interest in the Holy Spirit and examines the operation of the Spirit in relation to various theological categories.

In March 2005, Dr. Charette began his tenure as President of the Society for Pentecostal Studies.

Dr. Charette serves as Chair of the Department of Biblical and Theological Studies. He has a wealth of material on Jesus, the Gospels, the Book of Revelation, and the Holy Spirit.
