Word from the Education Department

Dr. Ron Jacobson

Dr. Ron Jacobson

Dean of the School of Education

"In spite of the current national emphasis on high-stakes standardized tests, students are not 'one-size-fits-all.' We understand that at the NU School of Education. That's why we work to prepare knowledgeable, skilled, and insightful teachers. We train teachers who approach their K-12 students holistically, because the students they teach are people—people who will grow up one day to lead our world. If this project appeals to you, then this just may be the place for you!"
