Hello there, my name is Rebecca Heiner (dubbed Becky by most), and I am the Transfer Counselor here at Northwest University. I have the utmost appreciation for my team and am tremendously grateful to have been allowed the opportunity to hold this position. Having spent time as a student at NU, I can confidently say that the environment here is unlike anywhere else and I remain so thankful for God allowing me to experience all that NU has to offer. That being said, I know that enduring the process of transferring schools can be grueling and it is my job to alleviate some of that weight off of your shoulders. I am here to help you in any way that I can and guide you to a path that best suits your needs. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Favorite aspect about NU:
The desire that the professors have to see you succeed and the effort they put into giving you sound advice for all facets of your life. They truly adhere to developing you on many levels that go beyond anything you could learn from a textbook.
Anytime I can have sushi, consider me happy.
Place to visit:
Prague, Czech Republic – Their architecture is incredibly breath-taking.
I played volleyball for over a decade but now that I have embarked on post-collegiate life I have been able to read a lot more which is one of my favorite pastimes. Outside of that I like catching up with friends as well as on my favorite television shows.
On my bookshelf:
Silver Linings Playbook, Grip of Grace, and Great Expectations.
On my iPod:
I have a very eclectic taste in music, so the shorter answer would be what is not on my iPod.
