The following is a list of questions frequently asked by new students regarding on-campus housing. More Student Housing info


When will I receive my room and roommate assignment?

Assignments will be emailed by August 1, to everyone who registers online before that date. Anyone registering after August 1 will receive assignment upon arrival to campus.

What do I do if I want to make a change to my preferences on my residence hall application?

You may e-mail the housing office at (Enable Javascript to see email address) with any changes you would like prior to receiving assignment.

What if I am not happy with my assignment?

Once an assignment is made, changes are not permitted. Students will have the opportunity to make changes at the semester break.

Can I arrive before the official move in date?

No early arrivals are allowed. If you will need housing before the halls open, you can check out our local hotel accommodations. Be sure to mention Northwest University.

What is the size of my room?

The average room size is 15 feet in length and 11 feet 3 inches in width. The average closet is 4 feet wide and 2 feet 3 inches deep.

What furniture items are in my room?

Each student will have an extra long twin bed, a mattress, a desk, a desk chair, a dresser and a bookshelf.
