Corban Ends Eagles Win Streak

SALEM, Ore. - Corban scored two second half goals to end NU’s three game win streak and come away with a 2-0 victory.

Tyler Hagen scored in the 60th and 71st minutes of the second half for the Warriors as the teams battled to a 0-0 scoreless, first half tie. The Eagles suffered bad luck as two potential goals were disallowed.

Joe Galbraith had 7 saves in goal for Northwest U. (8-5-1, 6-4 CCC) while Corban (6-5-3, 5-4-1 CCC) goalkeeper, Steven Mason, had two saves for the Warriors.Galbraith and Eagle defense kept them in the game as they saw 24 Corban shots to their five.

NU will travel next to Eugene to take on Northwest Christian on Oct. 20. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
