

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Northwest U. men’s basketball team held firm in the No. 15 spot of today’s NAIA Top 25 poll released by the national office. The Eagles won both their contests on the road last weekend and sport a 19-4 record.
Eastern Oregon, who comes to Kirkland this Friday night, is still the No. 1 team in the Top 25 setting up a match-up between to nationally ranked teams in the Pavilion. The Mountaineers come in with a 21-1 record. The teams have always played close, exciting games and this Friday should not be an exception. NU is currently in third place in the CCC with a 9-2 record.
Warner Pacific moved up two spots to the No. 6 spot in the poll as they also won both their conference games over the weekend. Southern Oregon, who was upset by the College of Idaho in Caldwell, fell out of the Top 25 after being ranked No. 21. William Penn (21-1) of Iowa is the No. 2 team and Indiana Wesleyan (20-2) ins ranked No. 3 this week.
