Dak has been a starter for the Lynden football team which has won three consecutive WIAA state championships.
“Dak is going to have a great career at NU,” commented John Van Dyke, Northwest University men’s coach. “He is obviously a winner as he has been part of four state championships thus far. I like the way he makes simple plays that lead to wins for his team. Coming from Whatcom County, Dak reminds me of two of our other Whatcom County players, Michael Greene and Rich Skillman, in his temperament and toughness.”
Shagren plans on majoring in Education with a minor in Health/Fitness at Northwest University. He is the son of Craig and Shari Shagren of Custer, Wash.
