CALDWELL, Ida. - The NU Eagles volleyball team took on the No. 14 ranked College of Idaho Yotes tonight and were swept 3-0 (26-24, 25-13, 25-20, in CCC play. Northwest drops to 12-9 overall and 6-6 in conference play and puts them in a three way tie for fifth with Warner Pacific and Northwest Christian. The Eagles battled the Yotes in the first set forcing numerous ties. With the set tied at 17-17, Northwest would take the lead on a Lauryn Ernster service ace. A Sarah Stoker kill and error by C of I would give NU a 20-17 lead. Rae Ann Hastings would tie it at 24-all, but an attack error by NU and a kill by Jessica Peacock would give the close victory to the Yotes.

The second set would belong to the Yotes as they would break out to a 13-6 lead. NU would pull to within three, 16-13, but a 9-0 scoring run by C of I would give them the set win.

In the final set the Eagles would battle back from a 12-7 deficit to tie the set at 12-12 on a Breanna Covey kill and attack error by the Yotes. C of I would then out score NU 6-0 to take an 18-12 lead which they would never relinquish.
