KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The fans have spoken and the men’s game between No. 1 ranked Eastern Oregon and our No. 15 Eagles has been voted the NAIA Game of the Week ! Now, we need to pack the Pav tomorrow night and support the team. Recommend you get there early as we have fewer seats in the gym with the new bleachers. Don’t expect to find a seat if you arrive just before game time. We may have to turn people away if it becomes a standing room only crowd.
NU faculty, staff and students get in FREE with ID. There is no pass list for the visiting teams.
Don’t forget about the Eagle women. They take on Eastern Oregon’s women who are ranked No. 5 in the country. Come early and cheer on the young Eagle team.
Game times are 5:30 p.m. for the women and 7:30 p.m. for the men. Friday night is also Two Feet Project Night. The Two Feet Project was founded by former NU men’s basketball player Stephen Ishmael and is aimed at assisting young African teens transitioning from living in an orphanage and into Kenyan society. Stephen actually left for Kenya on Tuesday. Nate Yokers, another NU alum and member of the Two Feet organization will be at the game to talk about the group. Donations will be welcome.
