KIRKLAND, Wash. - Northwest University held a Les Schwab Appreciation Night on Saturday during the NU-College of Idaho basketball game. David McCallister, the manager of the Kirkland Les Schwab Tire Center and his family were guests of NU and David was presented a plaque recognizing Les Schwab’s involvement with the CCC as a corporate sponsor. In front of a packed NU Pavilion Eagle coaches Mark Mandi (XC/T&F) and John Bacon (Softball) were on hand to present the plaque to McCallister.
Since 2011 Les Schwab has been the title sponsor of the Cascade Conference Champions of Character initiative. The NAIA’s Champions of Character program is designed to instill an understanding of character values in sport and provide practical tools for student-athletes, coaches, and athletic administrators to use in modeling exemplary character traits.
As a company, Les Schwab shares these important values as they take great pride in doing the right thing by always providing honest, helpful advice and working as a team to meet customer needs quickly and efficiently.
