NU’s Greene Voted CoSIDA Academic All-District

KIRKLAND, Wash. - Junior Michael Greene of Bellingham, Wash., was voted to the first team, 2012-13 CoSIDA Academic All-District men’s basketball team (District 8). Greene was also an All-District selection last season and went on to be named a Capital One Academic All-American in 2011-12. CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) has over 10,000 members nationwide and includes junior colleges, NAIA and all NCAA division levels.

Michael is an Accounting/Finance major and will graduate this year. He plans to return to NU next season and attend graduate school while using his final year of athletic eligibility. Greene maintains a 3.91 grade point average in the classroom in addition to being a starter for the Eagle men’s team, currently ranked No. 20 in the NAIA. He leads the team in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals.
