Northwest University Volleyball Camps

All Skills Camp

The All Skills Camp is for players entering Grades 4 to 6. Camp will focus on fundamentals of serving, passing, setting, and hitting. Campers can expect to improve their skills through the use of competitive drills and team play. In addition, camp competitions will provide opportunities for every camper to learn basic concepts of defense and attacking.

All Skills Camp Tuition: $125

Junior High Camp

The Junior High Camp is for players entering Grades 7 to 8. A variety of drills and game-like situations will be used to develop more advanced skills. Daily competitions that emphasize serve-receive, serving, defense and offense, will be an important part of the daily schedule.

Junior High Camp Tuition: $125

High School Camp — Sessions I and II

The High School Camp is for players entering Grades 9 to 12. The athletes will be grouped by ability level and a variety of drills and game-like situations will be used to develop more advanced skills. Daily competitions that emphasize serve-receive, serving, team defense and transition offense, will be an important part of the daily schedule. In addition, players will learn the offense and defense played by the Northwest University Volleyball program.

High School Camp 1 and 2 Tuition: $300

Dates/Times

• High School Camp 1: July 8 to 11, 9 am to 4 pm. Limited to 50 players
• High School Camp 2: July 15 to 18, 9 am to 4 pm. Limited to 50 players

High School Camp — Session III

The Session III Camp is for players entering grades 10 to 12 and is structured for advanced players that are considering a collegiate volleyball career. Players are expected to have advanced skills before registering for this camp and to have played or will play on the varsity team at their respective high schools. The focus of this camp will be to increase each player's technical ability by using both individual and group instruction. Competitive play emphasizing serve-receive, serving, team defense and offense, will be an important part of each day's schedule.

High School Camp 3 Tuition: $300

• High School Camp 3: July 22 to 25, 9 am to 4 pm. Limited to 50 players

Refund Policy

For all camps a full refund minus an administrative fee ($35 fee for All Skills and Jr. High; $50 fee for High School Camps) will be returned if cancellation is received before 5:00 pm on Friday June 28, 2013. No refunds will be granted after June 28, 2013.
