Ryan transfers to NU after stops at Green River, College of Southern Idaho and most recently, Dominican University. Injuries have played a role in Ryan’s journey to Northwest as he looks to finish out his playing days for the Eagles. Ryan prepped at Rogers High School in Puyallup. He is a very good shooter and will be looked on to be a defensive stopper at the wing position.
Said Coach Van Dyke about Ryan, “Most importantly I am thrilled that Ryan has finally found a home NU. It is unfortunate that injuries have limited the past three years but we are confident that Ryan will have a big impact on our program. He is a fearless shooter and can penetrate and create his own shot as well. I have also been impressed with his anticipation on defense along with his competitive drive.”
Position: Student Assistant
Riley begins his first season with the Eagle staff as a student assistant while attending classes at Northwest U. He brings a lot on energy and a positive attitude to the program.
“Riley has already been a valuable asset and addition to our staff,” said John Van Dyke. “He’s always willing to do whatever he can to make the program and the team better. His positive personality and smile makes everyone’s day a little brighter, too.”
