Brett is no stranger to the Eagle program as his older brother and father both played for Northwest. Skogstad transfers to NU after stops at both Warner Pacific and Pierce College. He is a fantastic shooter and has a natural feel for the game. Brett played for his father Larry at North Mason High School. Larry is also a member of the WIBCA (Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association) Hall of Fame.

“I am very excited that Brett will conclude his college career at Northwest,” commented Van Dyke. “He is the son of a coach and has high basketball IQ. There is no question that Brett can shoot the ball and that will be a huge asset to our team this year. He can play multiple guard positions and we are very excited to have Brett in our program.”
