Greg Spurgetis

Position: Assistant Coach

Greg returns to NU after graduating in 2010 and spending a season with the University of Washington as a graduate assistant for the men’s basketball program. Spurgetis came to play at NU in his senior year from Montana, but an early season injury to his wrist and subsequent surgery ended his career.

“We are pleased to have Greg return to NU and as a member of our coaching staff,” commented Coach Van Dyke. “Greg would have had an outstanding senior year with us had it not been for his unfortunate injury. His year with the Huskies has given him valuable experience which will help our program in many ways.”
