

Position: Assistant Coach
Coach Rubin is in his second year as an assistant coach with the Northwest University men’s basketball program. His responsibilities will include working with the perimeter players, strength and conditioning, game preparation and recruiting.
Prior to coming to Northwest U., Todd was the head boys basketball coach at Edmonds-Woodway High School and, in March of 2011, led the Warriors to their third straight playoff appearance. In his three seasons at Edmonds-Woodway, Rubin developed a feeder program which provided 5th-8th grade teams the opportunity to play at a competitive level and created and directed the Future Warrior Basketball Camps. Through his efforts he installed a quality high school basketball program at EWHS.
Todd is also in his third summer season coaching and training at the Eastside Basketball Club. As head coach of the top team at EBC, Todd has led his team to several tournament and league championships and an elite eight appearance at the nation’s top tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada. In his first four years of coaching, Todd was the JV Head Coach/Assistant Varsity Coach at Seattle Prep Academy and helped the Panthers win a WIAA 3A state championship in 2006.
Todd has also just finished his 7th year of teaching Health and Physical Education, and he coached four years of baseball before coaching basketball year around. He also coached multiple elite summer teams and was the JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Bellevue High School and Sammamish High School.

Todd is a graduate of Linfield College (Ore.) where he received a BS degree in Health/Education and played four years of collegiate baseball. He is currently on working on his Masters in Sports and Athletic Administration. Todd resides with his wife Andrea in Redmond.
