Women 6th, Men 10th in CCC XC Finals

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - The young NU Eagle cross country team competed in today's Cascade Conference Cross Country Championships and the Eagle women finished in 6th place and the NU men took 10th.

For the NU women, Paige DeLapp was the NU top finisher taking 20th with her time of 19:13 with Lindsey Wagner finishing right behind her in 25th in 19:26. Brittany Long wasn't far behind coming in 27th with her time of 19:31. Adria Grubb was in at 20:21 for 39th, Julia Johnson was 42nd in 20:35 and Jessica Loughlin 69th in a time of 27:26.

Seth Bridges was the top men's finisher as he came in 29th with a time of 26:20, 16 seconds ahead of Matt Porter who took 35th coming in at 26:36. Garrett Foot was 45th (27:42), Abel Foto 67th (35:50), Kelly Kramer 68th at 39:03, Jimmy Reed in at 42:16 for 69th and Ryan McNamara 70th with his time of 45:07.

Southern Oregon, ranked No. 1 in the NAIA national poll, won the men's championship as they placed three runners in he top six finishers. The College of Idaho, No. 6 in the NAIA, won the women's title.
