Due to the popularity of the first annual NU Soccer Academy, a Spring/Summer session has been added as announced by women’s soccer Head Coach Erin Redwine and Director of Athletics, Gary McIntosh in Kirkland.
The sessions will begin on Sunday, May 16th and will run from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Academy will run every Sunday through June 20th and is for boys and girls, ages 6 through 13. Players will be grouped by age during the Academy sessions. Each session is designed to focus on one technical skill soccer requires, such as: passing, first touch, shooting, defending and dribbling. Coach Redwine, members of her staff and current NU players will assist in working with the young soccer players.
Cost to the public is $150 for the six sessions with a ball and shirt included. A player may take advantage of the Drop In cost which is $30 per session. Children of NU staff and faculty will receive a 75% discount ($37.50 for all six sessions!) for the Academy as well as all NU sponsored camps. Registration for everyone can be done on the NU Athletics web page at: www.northwestu.edu/athletics.
If you have any questions regarding the NU Soccer Academy, please email Coach Redwine at: erin.redwine@northwestu.edu
