
Northwest's libero, Heather Shulke of Castle Rock, Wash., was a honorable mention selection for the Northwest Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association as announced by their national office in Lexington, Kentucky. AVCA is a national association comprised of over 5,000 members nationwide.
Heather also earned first team All-Cascade Conference honors this season and was voted a two-time Red Lion Libero of the Week during the year as well. Shulke broke her own school record for digs in a season with 533 this year and also bested her school record (43) for digs in a match with 48 against Northwest Christian on Nov. 4. She also led the CCC with a 6.12 dpg average and was ranked 4th in the NAIA.
