UW Indoor Results
The NU women's distance medley relay and Matt Porter on the men's side took part in the UW Indoor Invitational on Friday evening in the Dempsey Indoor Facility.
Joanna Sowers, Lindsey Wagner, Julia Johnson and Paige DeLapp finished 6th in their heat and 13th overall as they ran the DMR in a time of 12:39. It was the first meet of the year for the DMR as the 4X800 relay team had run in an earlier meet at the University of Washington.
It was also Porter's first meet of the season as he ran in the men's 5000m race, finishing 13th in his heat and 27th overall. Matt ran the distance in a time of 15:38.
Next up for the Eagle track & field team is the UW indoor open which is scheduled for February 12 and begins at 9.am.
