NU's Holtz Named First Team All-CCC
PORTLAND, Ore. - The Eagles' junior outside hitter, Lauren Holtz, was named to the first team All-Cascade Conference team today by a vote of the league's coaches.
Holtz was 10th in the CCC in kills with a total of 171, averaging 2.80 per set and 8th in digs with 217 with a 3.56 digs per set average.
This is the second time for the award for Holtz who was CCC Freshman of the Year and first team All-CCC as a freshman in 2007. Lauren was also a Honorable Mentions selection for the All-Region I team in the same year, the only freshman out of 24 players to earn that honor.
"I am proud of Lauren's accomplishments this year," commented Eagle Head Coach Jessie Dietrich, "and I am excited to see what she will do next season."
