KIRKLAND, Wash. – Powered by five home runs, Concordia held on to an early lead for an 8-4 victory over Northwest University in the second game of today’s CCC doubleheader halted 3 hours by a rain delay. After Concordia defeated Northwest 7-3 in the opener, a brief thunder storm soaked the field, but play was able to resume after sunny skies prevailed the remainder of the day.

No. 11 Oregon Tech Completes Two Game Sweep

PORTLAND, Ore. – No. 11 ranked Oregon Tech swept a doubleheader from Northwest University at Normandie Park in the Rose City today, 9-0 and 9-3. The games were moved from the Kirkland area due to weather conditions on Friday and a resumed this morning at Irv Linden Field. A light rain delayed the start of the first game one hour, but clearing skies allowed the games to be played.

Eagles Take Doubleheader from Southern Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. - Northwest University scored two extra inning victories, 5-4 and 4-3 over Southern Oregon today at Normandie Park in Portland. The games were originally scheduled to be played in Kirkland, Wash., but moved south due to weather and field conditions. The games were then moved from Clackamas CC to the Portland State University home field where the conditions were very playable.

Weekend Softball Games Moved to Oregon

KIRKLAND, Wash. - Today’s doubleheader with OIT made it to the bottom of the 4th inning before the game was called due to the rain and field conditions. Oregon Tech was leading 7-0 and the game will be moved to Oregon City and Clackamas Community College on Sunday at 10 a.m. with the second game beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.
