Nick played four years of varsity soccer for North Thurston High School. He was also a team captain at NTHS.

Salazar played his club soccer for the Black Hills Football Club.

Vallan Seid

Position: Assistant Coach

Val is in his first year with the NU soccer program and has been coaching for past 12 years in Washington state and coaching High school for 10 of those years. He has coached at various soccer clubs such as the FC Alliance, Emerald City and Crossfire; and is currently coaching girls of the Northwest Nationals where his team won a National Championship in 2011. He is the head varsity women’s coach at Ballard High School in Seattle, is the men’s varsity head coach at Roosevelt High (Seattle) and was the former goalkeeper/assistant coach at Bellevue College. Val played for UCLA and San Jose State during his collegiate years. Coach Seid holds a USSF B license, national youth license and the NSCAA goalkeeper license.
