Men's Soccer Roster

Matt Walton

Position: Assistant Coach

Coach Walton returns for his third year year as an assistant coach at Northwest U. Walton played the two years for Coach McIntosh and the Eagles and was an outstanding forward/midfield player for NU.

“Coach Walton will be a great asset to the NU program,” commented coach McIntosh. “He understands the game and he relates well with the players. Matt’s love for NU and for the game of soccer will benefit us as long as he is on the staff.”

Walton has also been a youth soccer coach for seven years. He is originally from Tacoma, Wash.

Matt was recently married to Kirstie (Perron) of the NU women’s soccer team.
