Malisa graduated from Henry M. Jackson High School in Mill Creek, Wash., and was the starting libero for the varsity volleyball team for four years.

In 2008, ‘09 and ‘10 seasons, Marasigan was named Wesco South 4A 2nd team libero. She also earned her team’s Most Inspirational Award in 2007, ‘08 and ‘09 and was team captain in her junior and senior year. Jackson High won the Wesco South championship in 2009-10 and placed 8th in the WIAA 4A State Tournament. In her senior year (2010), Jackson HS won the Wesco South and WIAA state 4A championships. Malisa received the 2010 Coaches Award and was the team leader in passing with a 2.74 passing percentage.
