Alyssa hails from Caldwell, Idaho, is playing in her first season for the Eagle basketball team She graduated from Vallivue High School in 2010 where she lettered in both basketball and volleyball and was named team captain all four years of her playing career. Her 2008 VHS team won the Idaho State 5A championship. Dario was an Idaho Outstanding Academic Achievement Award winner in all four years of high school and a member of the National Honor Society. She was also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She went on to play for Wenatchee Valley College where she was named to the All-NWAACC Eastern Region All-Defensive Team for the 2011-12 season. Dario also earned NWAACC All-Academic Team honors in 2012 and was a member of the WVC Dean’s list in 2011 and ‘12. In the 2010-11 season, Alyssa was in the Top 15 of the NWAACC in steals in 2011 and in the Top 15 in the league for assists in the 2012 season. At WVC, she was a member of the student senate and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Society.
