Annual REACH Missions Conference Inspires Students To Serve Abroad

REACH Conference is Northwest University's annual missions event put on by NUMA Campus Ministries. This year, the events spanned several days and focused on Matthew 6:33: "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness."

The conference kicked off on Monday evening, September 30, 2013 with an incredible worship set led by Crossing and a powerful message by Chad Alvarado, Executive Director with GO On The Mission. NU alum, Indonesia missionary, and Pastor of ICA Surabaya John Taylor concluded the conference on Wednesday, October 2. Unfortunately, we were only able to record Pastor Taylor's service, so click here to listen to his message.

One student said their favorite song Crossing worship led at REACH Conference was Coldplay's "Fix You."

Student Response

NUMA's student leadership prepared for weeks leading up to the conference. They prayed to see individuals transformed to live missions minded lives. After engaging in worship and listening to the special guest speakers, many students responded to being called into the mission field and were grateful for the events of the conference.

Missions Trips Revealed

The big highlight of the week's activities included revealing Northwest University's missions trips for next summer! NUMA hopes to send out 16 groups to the following locations: LA Dream Center, Northern Asia, Burkina Faso, Uganda, Zambia, Uruguay, Guatemala, El Salvador, India, Turkey, Spain, Austria (soccer and music ministries), Lithuania, Thailand, and Indonesia.
