Creme Tangerine Seattle Beatles Rooftop Day

Governor Christine Gregoire proclaimed Friday, January 29, 2010 “Creme Tangerine Seattle Beatles Rooftop Day” for the state of Washington. This day will mark the second consecutive year that Creme Tangerine plays a rooftop concert at Seattle’s Pike Place Market.

Creme Tangerine is a Beatle’s tribute band from Seattle. Three of the five members are alumni of Northwest University. The band members include: Dan Grant, alum Chuck Dorsett (’93), Tim Mushen, alum Jeff Lockhart (’89), and alum Dustin Shirley (’96).

The band will perform from noon – 1:00 pm, January 29, at the Copacabana Café rooftop balcony—at the center of Pike Place Market—with special guest Ken Mansfield, former president of the Beatles’ Apple Records, USA. Admission is free.

The concert is produced and directed by Jeff Lockart, NU alum and Director of Northwest University’s Creatio Project; sound engineered by Steve Smith, Creative Director of the Creatio Project; and assisted by Professor John Bacon and six Northwest University marketing students.

  • 7:00pm, Friday, January 29: Evening Community Outreach with Creme Tangerine and Ken Mansfield at Whidbey Island Calvary Chapel.
  • 7:00pm, Monday, February 8: Creme Tangerine headlining at the Triple Door in Seattle, performing “Abbey Road” in its entirety. Tickets are $12.00 at
