Don Argue Named Ambassador at Large for Convoy of Hope

Former Northwest University President Don Argue has recently been named Ambassador at Large for Convoy of Hope, a large disaster relief agency affiliated with the Assemblies of God. He will be working with “Convoy” in the areas of government and donor relations and in developing their leaders for ministry. We are very proud of Don’s continuing service to the Kingdom of God.

As a result, Don left his position as Chancellor of Northwest University on Thursday, August 15, 2013. This decision, which has been discussed for months, will bring a formal end to 15 years of Don’s employment here—nine years as President and six as Chancellor. President Castleberry said Wednesday, “I am both personally and officially grateful to Don for setting in motion the vision by which we changed our name to Northwest University, added graduate programs, and embarked on a trajectory of growth that has transformed our institution.”

Don retains his Northwest University email account, and it would be appropriate to send messages of thanks and congratulations to don.argue@northwestu.edu.
