The Northwest University softball team is gearing up for their second season to kick off on February 1, 2014 at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. Last summer, NU softball coach John Bacon announced the team's promising new partnership with Worth Sports, a large national supplier of softball equipment.
Located in St. Louis, MO, Worth provides bats, bags, helmets, catcher's gear, uniforms, batting gloves, and other items to NU's team. The 3-year agreement allows the Eagles to use high quality, state-of-the-art equipment designed by Worth especially for fastpitch softball. The Eagle coaching staff also became part of Worth's national Advisory Staff, which allows them to test and use Worth equipment.
"We are very excited to be working with Worth," says Coach Bacon. "Their products are made with amazing quality and help athletes to perform to their maximum potential. Being a Worth Advisory Staff school will help us continue to recruit and retain some of the best players in the Northwest. In addition, it will allow those who attend our games and camps to see Worth's products in action!"
