This week Northwest University welcomed the freshman class of 2016 onto its beautiful fifty-six acre campus. Orientation began on Wednesday, when current NU students, faculty, and staff met each loaded car and helped to quickly unload, carry, and move belongings into the dorms. The week included dozens of planned activities, all designed to help students feel welcome on campus and familiar with Northwest. Some of these activities were a barbecue for new students and their families, a 2016 class photo, an afternoon of service in the city of Kirkland, and a night of community worship. A candlelit march on Sunday, August 26th concluded orientation, just in time for classes to begin on Monday, August 27th. Welcome to Northwest University, Class of 2016!
