
This is the third tier of a three-tier internship program integrating conceptual aspects of academic training with hands-on practice of ministry in the local church. Students develop and lead a specialized ministry in the church. In the process of serving, the student will learn to apply diagnostic problem-solving, planning, and leadership skills, as well as, graduate to a level of indirect pastoral and faculty supervision. Emphasis is placed on monthly mentoring appointments with the Senior Pastor of the church in which the student serves and has cohort debriefing sessions with University faculty. Prerequisites: CMIN 3941 Internship I, YMIN 4942 Internship II. Graded on a Pass/No credit basis.
