  • B.A. Northwest College, 1993

Background

Rose-mary K. Smith began her career at Northwest in 1993 as an Enrollment Counselor, overseeing student employees while recruiting prospective students from fifteen different states, as well as Canada.

In 1998, Smith became the Director of Traditional Admissions, taking responsibility for achieving the admissions team’s goals. Smith assisted in developing and managing admissions budgets while working closely with a broad spectrum of individuals in order to create a smooth transition for prospective students into campus life.

Smith served in an expanded capacity as the Director of Traditional, Graduate and Professional Admissions from late 2003 to the summer of 2005, providing leadership for an extended transition period. Smith’s experience in this capacity prepared her for becoming the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment in May, 2006.

Since 2003, Smith has served as the Northwest Region representative on the board of directors for the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals. She has been a member since 1993.
