Professor Barsness started as an Adjunct Faculty member in 2003, teaching Research and Leadership while working full time at the University of Washington as a Research Nurse Coordinator. Her nursing background includes Intensive and Coronary care, office nursing, Gerontology, and development of senior exercise programs. She continues to practice in the area of Aging Research part-time at the University of Washington. Suzanne is also an avid quilter and loves teaching Women’s Ministry groups.
