Community Health and Pediatrics have been my focus in education, and in employment. I became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the 1970’s when there was a shortage of Health Care Providers particularly in suburban and rural areas of Washington State. After practicing full time as a Nurse Practitioner for Public Health, I transitioned into full time supervision and management of one of the primary care sites in Community Health while maintaining my NP practice to keep my credentials.
I have been involved with BSON since it began by providing clinical experience and guest lecturing; in Fall 2007 I started here as an Adjunct Faculty.
I enjoy time with my friends and family, including two grandsons. Traveling is high on my list of activities that I really enjoy.
