Community Handbook

Welcome

On behalf of the entire Student Development team, welcome to the 2008-09 academic year. My staff and I are committed to creating the best possible community for producing a meaningful University experience. It is our paramount goal to serve you, the student, and challenge you to grow as a whole person in knowledge, faith and form.

We are a community at Northwest University, and like any society, we must have some common understandings regarding practice and behavior to protect our mutual expectations for a safe and wholesome environment. I encourage you therefore to Carry the Call in whatever you do (Colossians 3). Every choice you make, every day, is an opportunity for you to lead a life that demonstrates your character and faith, and ultimately honors God. Please take the time to read this handbook carefully. These policies and guidelines represent the interests of the university board, administration, parents, alumni and this Christian community of scholarship and learning.

We are pleased to have you here. This institution exists for the glory of the Kingdom and the preparation of competent Christian leadership. May God bless you as you follow His calling at Northwest University.
