M.Ed. and Professional Certification

Core Curriculum (15 credits)

Electives (5 credits)

  • Courses, internships, projects, conference presentations, and other professional growth activities.

Certification Focus (10 credits)

  • Pre-Assessment Seminar
  • Individually Designed Core: courses and field work
  • Culminating Seminar

Each Pro-Cert candidate will create a Program Committee including a school district or private school representative (usually the building principal), a colleague selected by the candidate, and a university representative (Education Faculty member).
