Background

Dr. David Lim

Rev. Dr. David Lim, an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God of Singapore, is the Senior Pastor of Grace Assembly of God. Grace Assembly of God is a multi-lingual church with a total of ten weekend worship services in English, Cantonese, Hokkien, Mandarin, Filipino, & Youth.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Bethany College and received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

Prior to coming to Singapore, he has served at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, Philippines; a graduate school for the Southeast Asia, in various functions including that of President for a term during his six years there. He has pastored a total of twenty-four years and taught in Bible Schools for fourteen years. He has also authored a book entitled “Spiritual Gifts – A Fresh Look” published by the Gospel Publishing House, USA.

In addition, he has contributed a chapter on “Spiritual Gifts” to Systematic Theology – A Pentecostal Perspective and on “Spirit-Anointed Worship” to Pentecostal Pastor; both books published by Gospel Publishing House. He has produced his teaching on Ministering Spiritual Gifts into a set of 5-DVD package that combines scholarship and practical experience in the exercise of the Gifts, for the purpose of providing these resources that would benefit people who are in need of this training/equipping.

Pastor Lim is much experienced in training pastors, leaders, and lay workers for the Kingdom of God; a truly gifted man of God in teaching. His works have touched many lives in most parts of South East Asia, having trained these people into effective individuals, ready for the service of our Lord Jesus.
