Rev. Oscar Lindseth ('52) Passes Away

1930 - 2005

Oscar Melvin Lindseth, of Renton, died Aug. 8, 2005, in Puyallup. He was 75.

Born Feb. 18, 1930, in Cosmopolis, he attended Aberdeen High School and graduated from Northwest Bible Institute with a bachelor's degree in pastoral ministries in 1952. He married Marian Kenney in 1952 and lived in Renton for 15 years.

Mr. Lindseth worked in pastoral ministry for 50 years, retiring in 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Lindseth, of Renton; sons Wes Lindseth, of Kent, and Bob Lindseth, of Vancouver, Wash.; daughter, Marilyn Eylander, of Marysville; brother, Einar Lindseth, of Roseburg, Ore.; sister, Margaret Kecki, of Auburn; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A celebration of his life will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Fairwood Assembly in Renton. Private burial will be at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett.
