Choir Travels to England

Sixty-two members of the Northwest University Concert Choir and Chamber Choir toured England and Wales May 7-15, 2006.

The two choirs, directed by Associate Professor William Owen, performed concerts and recitals at Winchester Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral in London, Bristol Cathedral, Holy Trinity Church at Stratford-upon-Avon, Canterbury Cathedral, and Great St. Mary’s Church at Cambridge. They also enjoyed an evening of choral camaraderie with a Welsh Male Choir in Cardiff. Throughout the trip, students had many opportunities for visiting sights related to English and music history.
