COMMENCEMENT 2008
Friday, April 25
Baccalaureate Chapel is a sacred assembly of graduates, faculty, family, and friends called together to worship God for his blessings while attending Northwest University. Baccalaureate Chapel is held in the Butterfield Chapel on campus. Faculty and students will robe and march in for this special service. Graduates need to meet at 10:10 in the lower level of the Chapel and bring your cap and gown.
Friday, May 2
Graduates and their parents are invited. Graduates are free of charge, there is a small charge for family. Graduates will remain at the Church for the mandatory practice.
Graduates do not need to bring caps and gowns for the practice. The marching line-up, seating order and reading of names will be rehearsed as well as further instructions.
Friday Evening Celebration Receptions
Graduates, families, and faculty are invited to gather for each School and College social followed by a campus wide social in the Pavilion. The Celebration is a wonderful time for introduction of family to the faculty as well as photo opportunities. Please attend your College or School’s celebration at the location and time designated below.

8:00 pm, Northwest Pavilion. Refreshments will be served.
Saturday, May 3
Graduates and faculty need to arrive by 9:00 with their caps and gowns.
Valet parking is available for a small fee and is located on the North side of the building. Use the North driveway (golf course side) until you reach the side of the building.
Friends and family are encouraged not to take pictures during prayer or Commencement addresses. A professional photographer will be taking the graduate pictures.
