Upbeat, genuine, and intentional corporate worship is nothing new here at Northwest University. In fact, it happens on a regular basis from 3-5 times a week in chapel and on Monday nights at student-led Pursuit. What doesn’t happen on a regular basis is the recording of a live worship album with hundreds of voices echoing throughout Butterfield Chapel. On January 14, 2013 the dream of recording a live worship album came true.

Today's chapel services featured Christian hip-hop artist Thi'sl, who was in Seattle for a concert in partnership with a local church. Though Thi'sl is based in St. Louis, MO, he regularly tours the country including the west coast and specifically Seattle.

Northwest University has announced Seattle Seahawks rookie sensation quarterback Russell Wilson as their special guest at the 3rd Annual Eagle Hall of Fame Benefit on Friday, March 22, 2013. Wilson will be participating in a moderated conversation at the event, which benefits and supports scholarships for student athletes at the university.

For the second year students at Northwest University have partnered with World Vision, which is located in Nearby Federal Way, in a project aimed at supporting medical volunteers in developing countries. Students raise money to purchase medical supplies, which are assembled into "Caregiver Kits" and then distributed to volunteers caring for individuals suffering from the effects HIV/Aids.

Each week members of the Thursday Night Improv team put plenty of hard work and preparation before students pile into NU's Millard Hall theatre for a night of laughs and memories. No one, including the cast members, know just what the night's performance will bring - other than laughter. It's a welcome break from the weekly grind of homework, studying, part-time jobs, and required internships.
