Today is the second day of what we call “Dead Week”. This means that this is our prep time for final exams, projects and presentations. During this week professors will no longer be assigning any new assignments, which is a great relief.

Figuring out where you want to go to college is a huge task. We spend our whole childhood going through school to prepare for college and that crazy little thing called “the real world.” At the end of 12 years of mandatory schooling, we stop and realize that we don’t know what to do next. We know that eventually we have to get a job so we can take care of ourselves and maybe a family one day. Well the way to do that is to go to college, but how do we even chose?

I am a full-time student here at Northwest University. That alone entails a lot of responsibility. I'm keeping up with a full credit load, attending events and meetings, living harmoniously with roommates (that does take effort!), working part-time, and attempting to maintain a social life. But, that's not all! I also have to make time to spend with my fiancé and plan a wedding that will be over a thousand miles away from NU! As you can imagine, this makes my life incredibly busy! However, it's never boring.

Coming to you LIVE from THE CAF, my good friend Arlan and I decided to share something that was on our NU Bucket List. To say the least, a few of my friends and I had a great time crossing this off our list!

Today, finances are so important to us. I mean, think about it. We try to find the best deal on groceries, looking in the clearance section at the mall and now finding the best place to get an education. Being that this is my final year at Northwest I can definitely say that I do have some tips that I can give you towards paying for school. However, I know that I have been truly blessed by God in tremendous ways with my school bill and I am incredibly thankful. For the tips I'm going to give, I will split them up into 2 categories: What I have done to pay for college and what I WISHED I would have done.
