Hello! My name is Nicholas Nair and I am a senior here at the Northwest University. I am a youth ministry major and I come from the vacation destination Kent, Washington.
I am an avid sports fan; I have been interested in playing and watching since I was a kid. I look at sports as something that brings people together to have fun (hopefully). As I grew older my love for sports grew into me developing a sports blog that ultimately turned into an opportunity to work for a bigger sports blog website. My other hobbies besides sports include reading. Over this past summer I made it my goal to finish at least 5 books. Specifically books that would help me grow in my relationship with God and become closer to Him. Here at NU I have been involved in many leadership areas, this year I am a part of the Pursuit Leadership Team as well as an Act Six cadre one representative. Act Six is a foundation that has partnered with Northwest University to bring urban leaders to Northwest to better their campus and their home communities.
Like I have mentioned above about blogging, it all started when my professor assigned it as semester long project and I fell in love with it. When I heard about this opportunity to blog for Northwest University I jumped all over it. I want to be able to share my experience with you and to give you a glimpse of what it is like to be a student here at NU. So you can expect some fun, interesting blog posts from me. Don’t worry because it all won’t be sports related but rather focusing on the best ministry and social events that NU has to offer. My hope is that this blog would give you insight as to what it is like from the many undergrads to be a student here at Northwest - inside and outside of the classroom. Thank you for reading!
