Overview
The major in Management is designed to prepare individuals to perform managerial functions in the
public and private sectors. The curriculum provides an educational experience for leadership positions in the business
and professional world, and in various business ministries within the church-related, service-oriented institutions.
The Christian value system and perspective, particularly as it relates to the modern business environment, will
be integrated throughout the academic program.
In addition to achieving the general goals of the School of Business and Management, completing this major provides learning opportunities
which enable the student to:
- Understand and apply principles of management, finance, accounting, and marketing within legal and ethical
contexts.
- Demonstrate management skills required of effective leaders.
- Obtain practical experience in a management internship.
