Available Topic: Cracking the Da Vinci Code

  • Was Jesus actually married to Mary Magdalene?
    And did they have children?
  • In the first centuries did Christians worship Jesus
and Mary as representations of the divine masculine
    and divine feminine?
  • Was belief in the divinity of Christ actually invented by
the Roman Emperor Constantine in the 4th century?
  • Did an underground society keep these secrets alive during the Middle Ages, and did Leonardo Da Vinci put clues to all this in his paintings?

These claims have been read by thousands of Americans in The Da Vinci Code (over 93 weeks on the NYT best-sellers list). This seminar will explain the historical distortions behind these ideas and help you understand how to talk about them with your friends.

The full presentation takes one and a half hours, although a two-hour setting would be better.

Professor Heugel has also done an abbreviated version in 45 minutes, which is more evangelistic, focused on the Da Vinci material and debunking the methodology. He has done the abbreviated version in evangelistic settings at South Puget Sound Community College and at The Evergreen State College.

He has done the full presentation for Cedar Park, Canyon Creek Church, and Calvary Chapel, Olympia.
