Experience at Northwest

I really liked the structure of the program, I mean I was able to–I got married and started a family during the course of the program and was able to work full time too, so that was nice.

Practicum

For my practicum I went back to Africa, where I got started with the whole social justice, humanitarian work. I went back to a couple of the orphan care centers that I had been in communication with and just talked with them about what they wanted to do, and how they wanted to grow.

Thesis

I really focused my thesis on orphan care and really did a lot of research on the difference between what we think is institutional and family based care and the practicalities of each of those.
