Short Bio:
I am a graduate of Northwest University with a Bachelors of English. I have grown up in the Pacific NW and am always thrilled when it rains – perfect weather for reading books. I am passionate about birds and love to invest in people one-on-one.
Favorite Aspect of NU:
My favorite aspect of NU is the genuine and intentional nature of this community. I came in as a shy freshman, but through professors and faculty that encouraged and challenged me, I have grown and developed in ways that have led me to where I am today.
On my Bookshelf:
I have too many books to list, but some of my favorites include Little Bee, The Road, and Red Queen. I mostly love to read YA, but I’ve learned that branching out into new genres has led to some amazing book discoveries.
Favorite Food:
Most recently I’ve been loving enchiladas, but pizza will always be my go-to comfort food.
Favorite Place in Seattle:
My favorite place in Seattle is the “Artists at Play” playground by the Seattle Center and Space Needle.
Favorite coffee/non-coffee order:
My everyday coffee order is an iced caramel macchiato. If I am not feeling coffee than a classic Lemon San Pellegrino hits the spot!
Favorite Activity:
I love doing puzzles! Sudoku, word searches, jigsaw, you name it, I love them!
Favorite Sport:
Some of my favorite sports to play are Rugby, Volleyball, and Soccer. I would be thrilled to watch any of these on TV, but soccer is what I typically end up watching the most.
What you might not know about me:
I was an extra in a very small, very small indie film called Thomas and the Train Master when I was 11 years old.
