Multicultural Fashion Show Fundraiser
MOSAIC (Multicultural Organization of Students Active in Christ) is sponsoring Northwest University's first ever Multicultural Fashion Show Fundraiser on February 9th from 7-9pm in Butterfield Chapel to celebrate Multicultural Education Awareness Week. The event is free and all students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The heart behind this event is to showcase different cultures and their various styles as well as to help fund the vision of one of our NU students. Stephano Musa grew up in the Osiligi Orphanage, and the proceeds from this event will directly benefit this organization. The donations made from this event will also be used to help aid the Northwest University Tanzania mission trip which Stephano will be leading.
Well known designers such as African Print Takeover, Trash by Tony, and Kahini Fashion have graciously accepted to come and support our cause. Clothing from the following cultures will be featured: Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Samoa, America, Sudan, Somalia, South Korea, China, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Philippines, Mexico, Ukraine, and Japan.
We hope you will join us for this event as we celebrate the diversity of our student body.
