The New Washington College Grant

The New Washington College Grant

The Washington College Grant is a generous need-grant funded and offered by the State of Washington.

Students enrolling at Northwest University (and any other private four-year nonprofit university) can receive up to $9,739 a year depending on eligibility and enrollment status. (This amount may change for the 2020-21 academic year).

The amount of the award also depends on family size and total income, (adjusted gross income plus untaxed income).  Check here to see the 2019-20 Median Family Income Chart.

In addition, those students who signed up for College Bound in the 7th or 8th grade and whose family meets the income requirements and other eligibility criteria, can receive additional scholarship for a total award up to $11,904.

To be considered for this funding you must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  For those who aren’t eligible for federal financial aid because of immigration status, you must file the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA).   Do so now!
